Chelbi brings over 23 years of expertise as a licensed cosmetologist, holding dual licenses in California and Texas. Her journey began at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, where she earned her cosmetology certification, and she furthered her education at Pasadena City College for an instructor's certification and San Diego University for additional credentials. She is a former Toni & Guy Educator specializing in healthy hair for all hair types which has led to a thriving client base and opportunities to style celebrities for television shows, magazines and special events. Chelbi's passion is found in educating both licensed hairstylists and aspiring cosmetology students, showcased through her engaging demonstrations aimed at enhancing their skills. Alongside being a salon owner, Chelbi serves as a lead educator and academy coordinator, exemplifying her commitment to imparting knowledge and fostering excellence in the cosmetology industry.

NATURAL HAIR STYLING CLASS

Receive a CERTIFICATION in Natural Hair Styling. Learn in a small group setting, HANDS ON CLASS (4HRS)

Classes are offered to individuals enrolled in cosmetology school and licensed professionals. 

 

Lesson Objective: Straightening and Styling Natural Hair by the end of this lesson learners will:  

1. Product Knowledge: 

• Identify and understand the purpose of various hair products used for achieving desired styles on natural hair, including their specific functions and benefits.

 2. Hair Structure and Texture:

• Explain how the structure and texture of hair influence styling techniques and product choices. 

3. Terminology: 

• Familiarize themselves with key terminology related to natural hair care styling.

4. Care Techniques: 

• Demonstrate proper techniques for shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying natural hair to ensure effective and healthy styling.  

 

As part of the package, you will be provided a natural hair mannequin with a clamp stand, and a plug-in ceramic pressing comb to use in class.
